Ladies Tuesday Morning Golf League
The Highwood Ladies Tuesday Morning Golf League invites all lady golfers (members and non-members) of all skill levels to play in our league in a shotgun start at 8:30 Tuesday mornings, with adjustments in the shoulder months, as required.
League play starts on Tuesday, May 7 and there will be a Welcome Back Coffee and Pastries before golf at 8am.. The Spring Scramble is scheduled for Tuesday, May 21, and league play wraps up on Tuesday, September 24th with the Fall Scramble, Dinner, and Meeting.
After your round, enjoy lunch and socializing with the ladies.
Highwood participates in CHAMPS (Calgary Hospitality and Match Play Section) and Country Interclub, where you have a chance to visit other clubs and host ladies at the Highwood.
Our highly successful Ladies Open returns on Sunday, July 21st. This is an event you don’t want to miss!

Wednesday Men's League
Wednesdays – STARTING MAY 1 – 22 Wednesdays; May 1st – October 2nd.
Wednesday nights at Highwood Golf boasts one of the most successful Men’s Leagues in Alberta and maybe Canada! It is open to Members and Public alike.
Regular nightly play starts with a 9-hole 6:00pm shotgun with the option to play up to 18 holes prior to the shotgun. The league is team based with nightly matches against another team which is great for camaraderie. We also do a total of three 18-hole nights (June 19th & July 17th) throughout the season including the wind-up held on Saturday, October 5th, 2024. (Subject to Weather) We would love to see you all out for the 2024 season, meet old friends, meet new friends, and enjoy a lot of fun golf.
Thursday Senior Men's League
Thursdays from (TBA)
Senior Men aged 50+ are welcome to participate weekly in Senior Men’s League. The League is open to both Highwood Golfing members and non members. With a first day of league play on (TBA) and an opening scramble tournament on (TBA), this league plays weekly in a shotgun format and includes a variety of on course competitions and games alike. The league plays in a shotgun start and there is optional lunch afterward. For more information on registration fees and daily green fees please see the information below.
Thursday Evening Ladies (Highwood 18 & Spitzee 9)
The Thursday Evening Ladies Golf League is a fantastic way for women of all levels to enjoy a casual and fun evening of 9 hole golf. The combination of fun games, regular play, themed nights and socialization afterward, create a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere for all participants. Leagues on the Spitzee 9 course
Monday Night Junior League
League runs Monday nights from: May 27th—August 26th
• Tee times are from 4:00-7:00pm
• Spitzee 9 will be reserved for all Junior Night participants
• Each paid registrant can bring out one friend or guest per week at no charge
• $3 per week prize fee for those wishing to take part. This is NOT mandatory. Prize winners will be contacted by email and your prize will be in the pro shop!
Highwood Rio Ladies League
The Highwood Rio Ladies Golf League offers three golf days a week (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings) for Ladies who wish to join a friendly, non-competitive group golfing nine holes on the Spitzee 9. Registration takes place the end of April ($20 fee).
Players email their day(s) of choice to play and random tee times are then scheduled. The mixed play-list is posted by email Sunday for the week. The Pro Shop ONLY handles cancellations.
We gather once a month for a fun filled luncheon to meet and greet all league members.

Welcome to our Thursday Evening Ladies Program, also known as LOE! We welcome all women who find enjoyment in the game of golf regardless of their level of play; from those who are just learning and would like to meet other women golfers to those who have been playing on a regular basis with a close group. Our focus is on creating an exciting, fun golf environment for you to escape to from your busy lives and that all skill-levels will enjoy.
